The ultimate goal when learning a new skill, ember-cli-jquery-zoom (jqueryplugins.net) or learning how to use any new program that is worth doing, is to learn as much as possible. Learning web development tools such as query can be difficult, especially for the first-time delvers. The problem with web development tools like jQuery and many of the other popular JavaScript frameworks and plug-ins for websites is that they have become so embedded in our culture, that we are all programmed to use them. This can make for a challenge, because it seems that everything that you see has some kind of plug-in behind it. So how do you learn to use JavaScript without embedding it into your web page or template?

You have two choices: learn one thing at a time, or learn multiple things in parallel. Learning basic knowledge for web development such as how to use jQuery is easy enough. You just need to know what basic knowledge means, such as how to create a basic HTML document. Once you know how to build your document, then you are ready to learn jQuery's JavaScript API, which consists of an extremely large collection of functions. These functions are all related to the HTML code that makes your page viewable, so they are all important in the grand scheme of things, but not very interesting unless you already know how to code in those specific functions.

If you want to learn a query without needing to learn HTML or CSS, then you would want to learn one thing at a time, and then you would want to learn jQuery's API. Learning one thing at a time is how to learn jquery. Once you learn how to code in the different JavaScript functions, you are ready to build simple web pages. However, for a real challenge, you may want to start reading books on web development or hire a professional to teach you how to use query properly, since there are a lot of topics in web development that you will not be able to grasp if you are trying to learn as you go.
